The Anantara Al Jabal Al Akhdar Resort – Oman

I feel like my weekends fly by so much faster as I’m getting older (I’m not even 30 yet and I’m already feeling it). So any opportunity to slow down and just relax, I really look forward to. But this time instead of just chilling at home I thought ‘Why not go make some memories on a little vacation and live your best life Mesh’.

So I took a flight to Oman which  is only one  hour away from the U.A.E but feels like a completely different place.  The roads have little to no traffic which means getting in the car doesn’t involve a bumper to bumper experience. It’s so much more chilled and just good place to get away for a while.

IMG_2164 (1)I stayed two nights in the mountains at The Anantara Al Jabal Al Akhdar Resort. This is the kinda place you see in the movies or on your Pinterest when you type in “Dream Vacay’s”. You honestly feel like you might have stumbled into heaven.

It’s more then just a luxurious resort though, with rock climbing being the main show stopper. If you’re up for a thrill and want to channel your inner James Bond you can climb around a cliff face, taking a few snaps for the gram along the way (If it’s not on Instagram it never happened right?)

After putting your body to work you then have the option of dining at any three of their amazing restaurants, Italian, Middle Eastern or a mix of European. Be prepared to gain a fews Kg’s on your trip though, the food is ridiculously good.

Most of my days were spent by the pool located on the cliff top, where I just caught some rays and turned a few shades darker… I know it was a super tough situation to be in.

From the moment you walk in you can feel the calmness and good vibes  from everybody there. It’s easy to see why people are so chilled though! After spending a couple of days there I felt like I’d been away for a week.  It’s by far one of the most refreshing and recharging weekends I’ve had in a  long time.
